John Logie Baird
 Inventor

We can clearly see the large holes designed to hold the bicycle light Bulls Eye Lens. Later pictures show much smaller holes, thus I suspect saving many lives! as the lenses would often break from the board, and fly across the room embedding themselves into the landlords wall. The picture above is of his receiver, the electrical is the amplifier. After a time his soldered joints were absolutely perfect. He would complain to mother about the Soldering Flux, it would never stick where he wanted and it was so messy. The self etching fluxes of today would have left him in heaven!

As I search my mind for all the things that mother told me of my father I see that a controlling force in his life was the love he felt for a young lady he met. She must have shown him true love, almost heaven its self.

Love is the most wonderful thing to ever happen to us, when things go wrong, it becomes a curse it takes over our lives. I too have experienced this "Blessing or Curse," and have searched to try to explain it, the act of being in love.

This is my feeble attempt :

Love is just a totally selfish devotion we have to someone we meet in life?
Yet it is more powerful than power and Money combined.

And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;--
What are all these kissing's worth,
If thou kiss not me?
