Please remember that I have no funds to develop any of these ideas. my father John Logie Baird was in the same situation and so many of his great inventions and ideas were lost.

For my inventions and ideas I have many fine details of how to get them up and running.

Black holes Create Galaxies and Life

Black holes Create Galaxies and Life

Every person who lives has a legitimate opinion that is as good as any professionals.

I therefore present mine

I must admit that like my father before me John Logie Baird as a lone man has difficulty in making his voice heard, but with inherited tenacity I, undaunted, proceed to spread my word hoping that some kind person, in power, will become my champion.

Everything so it seems started with “the big bang” which is generally accepted today as the best theory. Yet in later studies planets and ages of planets differ causing some disconcertion to the theorists. In everyday life we can see samples which can aid us in research to answer many questions.

I have seen many explosions and none go bang and it’s over, there is always a long burn or later explosions to the main one. The big bang must have been followed by many on-going smaller explosions covering a time pattern of millions of years, therefore making it difficult to date certain areas of the universe in comparison to others.

The idea of worm holes creating galaxies creates an on-going  and changing universe so there will be many varying ages and dates present in the same area.

The most exciting news recently became public that there is a “black hole” in the centre of all Galaxy’s. Armed with this knowledge it is immediately apparent that the hole is the “Belly Button” of the Galaxy. This is where matter is spewed out from the collecting end far away. The black hole must be like a space tornado, with a spiral twisting motion causing the matter to flow out in the Galaxy spiral we know so well.

When the other end of the hole finishes drawing matter in then the Galaxy is formed and the frantic work of the hole goes into a period of rest.

Could the size of the hole in the Galaxy be a direct measurement of the age of that Galaxy, i.e. the larger the black hole the older the Galaxy.

The black hole though dormant does not disappears but remains to be used again and over millions of years galaxies are formed and reformed many times moving back and forth up and down the spiral tube, creating another galaxy in another place of the universe.

As the active collection end of the black hole collects nearby matter there must be a time limit or a distance limit as to how much it collects. As many holes are inactive but can still be seen, It would seem that a sudden increase in gravity or a star explosion causes the whole process to start and probably a lack of ingoing material causes it to stop.

If we can find the answer to what causes gravity, then many questions will be answered.

The fact again arises that I am a lone man and have no research facilities available to me but a educated guess is that the speed of atoms cause gravitational pull and if we could weigh an object, then increase the atom speed, probably by heating the object then re weigh the same we would perhaps have our answer. It seems the most controlling factors of our universe are heat and pressure, I feel these are very prominent in gravitational pull and with some diligent research this question could be solved.

I feel sure that the difference in age will vary between the outer stars of the galaxy and the inner stars by the exact amount of time it took to spew out the matter and create the Galaxy.

I am sure when we see the matter spurting from a black hole we are actually seeing a galaxy being created and therefore we are watching the creation of life

By looking for a black hole the same size as ours we can safely guess that this is the galaxy that may support life!

Rules for Skyscraper Safety
  Skyscraper rules

Published 19th July 2010

My father invented Television, he also worked out how to transmit it. He transmitted it across the Atlantic, he set up the first Television studio. He helped to devise the best makeup and even the great NASSA used his video camera on the moon.

It was farsighted men and women that helped make the world safer, like the men who increased the lifeboat safety after the Titanic disaster.

I am trying to save lives by building a set of skyscraper rules, backed up by inventions that will make our world safer. As more and more Sky Scrapers are built we hope to make the rare, errant non caring architects toe the line.

A modern high-rise or Skyscraper office block or apartment house has more people in it as any Cruse ship or aircraft. The odd thing is that because it is stationary we tend to ignore all but the basic safety. Many times when fire has struck a building we see people throwing themselves to the ground then after a quick mention it is ignored the next day!

Is it money? Or a basic not caring that allows these buildings into service without many basic safety features. A caring Government could have a “Lifesaving,” competition, and all the great ideas could be used.

I will attempt to place some safety inventions at the disposal of the architects, and those in power, in the perhaps vain hope that they will be used to save lives without Governments having to pass laws to keep the architects in line.

The twin towers were built in the middle of three major airports with constant heavy air traffic.  It was a forgone conclusion that one day a aircraft would hit a tower. Should the builders   and architect be charged with murder because the towers collapsed so quickly? Killing so many.

I have three basic inventions covering the emptying of tall buildings quickly, without loss of life. Like my father before me I need funds to develop these ideas.

Where is that person in power that cares?

         Internal System

The first system consists of a helter-skelter tube built above the existing staircase in the stairwell. It could have landings or stages so that once on safer lower floors, the fleeing people could choose other ways to escape. A simple wire frame and seat would hold the passenger, with a fan wheel controlling the speed. As in the case of an injector seat a visor could be pulled over the face. This is mechanical only and does not use electricity or any other form of energy.

External System

Stored wires hidden in the building can be unreeled in an emergency and hooked to some preset hydraulic rising pillars, so that they hang from several floors of the building down to adjacent rooftops or the ground. The wire trolleys with face visors and a mechanical clockwork fan brake, can be used to help people slide to safety. The controlled decent would soon empty the floors in immediate danger.

 Help with Fire. External

The third idea is to build a huge tank into the rooftop that will under normal usage be hidden and empty. In the case of fire or emergency the tank can be filled again and again by helicopters from a nearby river. This would power sprinklers and water jets to put out the fires.

Internal Elevators.

The elevators must be split so that some just cover 20 stories or that kind of figure. The safe floors could still maybe use the elevators with there own power source for a little longer, rather than close that fast escape route so early.

The Baird Aircraft Cube

Published 2nd July 2010

At last an invention that will undoubtedly save lives in aircraft.

At one time I had a  great interest in being an Air Crash Investigator. The need to survive and earn money soon overrode the dream, but it has left a fascination in aircraft safety.

This invention is so simple it is fantastic. God has given us so many gifts and we so often forget them, one gift is Gravity.

If you place a simple plumb line with a weight on the end in a plastic clear cube, gravity will always pull it downwards. This cube is placed in the sight of the pilot and he knows which way up he is flying.

He no longer has any doubt if his instruments seem to be wrong he looks at the cube and turns the aircraft until the weight hangs down and without relying in computers or anything else he knows he is flying the right way up. If the weight touches the glass nearest him he is climbing and the opposite if it is touching the front glass. He is turning if it touches either side.

I so hope that this is not ignored for being too simple!

In one simple "Baird" cube, a pilot can orientate himself quickly, knowing that it is only gravity controlling it..

This must be fitted to all aircraft as soon as possible as it requires nothing to drive it and it will save lives!!!!!

A small Steam Engine
without a Boiler

This small engine can drive from a mower to a train.

A simple Steam Engine

First Published 9th may 2009

Most ideas and great inventions are simple. They start with a very simple idea and as the project develops then it becomes more complicated.

Even though my father was the great John Logie Baird. Because I was born out of wedlock to his housekeeper Kathleen Faux, I am frowned upon and deemed unworthy of investment. But here is a steam engine of totally simple design that can give a power stroke time the piston rises. I haven’t the funds to find out the hp output but it should be worthy of the development.

Short Engine Description

If we look at the stunning and wonderful steam engines of the past most of the space was taken up with a boiler, water and fuel to heat the water up to steam, to drive the engine.

These are so wonderful to look at that we forget the basics, which is to make steam, inject it into a cylinder so that as it expands in the cylinder it drives the engine.

Lets look a new at this steam engine and using a basic piston and cylinder place at the top of the cylinder, just out of reach of the piston a large electrical heated disc. An injector placed just above the disc, sprays water onto it just as the piston reaches the top of its stroke. The water turns quickly to steam forcing the piston down, with a driving force. The engine drives an alternator to supply the current.

It is only by experiment that the best number of cylinders etc can be found out with other details. A lot more information is available.

  Modern Windmills

The new windmills are exciting and in their early stages. I will list some ideas and improvements. These ideas should increase output and lower costs due to ease of maintenance.

I cannot understand why the turbines are set at the top of the tower, as just carrying a screwdriver up to do a small repair must be tiring. The design from me sets the generators on the ground with a simple drive system allowing the blades to face the wind at all times. If the windings are perhaps wound onto horse shoe type holders, perhaps we could add more then increase the output. the addition of a fluid flywheel with a lock would give us greater control so that in high winds we could add a slip, rather than close the generator down. So much can be found out with a little research. Would the addition of twin horseshoe magnates improve output?

At last the
Easter Island Statues
 can Sleep.

As sadly history shows, the Easter Island Settlers, were forgotten, and as time passed they used up there resources, leaving the Islands bare. The history of their great forefathers must have soon been rejected as in there dire time of need they failed them.

Easter island Statues with hats

As early as the first century CE Indonesian vessels made trade voyages as far as Africa. Picture: a ship carved on Borobudur, circa 800 CE.

Soekarno, Indonesia's founding president

I have no way of finding out but I presume the early statues will be the ones with the hats.

Later they were asking anyone to call and visit their island home, as their forefathers had failed them.

The only reason for the hat is to identify the people they came from!

The statues from their positions must be lookouts for help. Did men watch from these positions? If so how long before someone had the great idea of making statues to do the boring job?

We as humans seem to have a natural inclination always to make things more complicated than it is in reality.

A simple Stop or Traffic Light

A quick insert as the stoplights are so annoying. The grey area is always Amber. the question is why do we have the amber? the new one or two light system is very simple, it saves money and there just stop or go! NO GREY!

Self Seeking Fire Hose

This hose eliminates the need for fire-fighters to enter a building or cut holes in a roof.  The fire hose drills through walls all electrical and plumbing to seek the heart of the fire. the only need for a fire-fighter to enter a building is to save life!

More detailed drawings are available.

The oil spill sealed
and
the spilt oil collected.

The great advantage of this idea is that the tube is inserted with some force. By adding locking wheels etc anything can be done to keep it in place. Once fitted the pipe can be run anywhere to finish the job.

 Oil Clean up

The oil cleaning problem I posted a solution several years ago. Nobody listens or cares see what anybody can do. You can use it I want $10,000. or nothing

Fact oil floats on water and if mixed in a stirrer then left to settle it separates oil on top water underneath.

This is Gods gift to us yet nobody uses it.

Take some disused tankers.

Place some baffles in the main tank.

Suck up the oil and water.

Park the ship overnight.

Pump the good usable oil from the top.

Pump the clean seawater from the bottom

Done

But there are just too many people making vast money from detergents!!!!!!!!
